Refund Policy
FoxScan aims to be transparent and fair when it comes to cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for our on-site inspection and diagnostic reporting services. This policy explains exactly what you can expect at each stage of the process, so there are no surprises before or after your inspection is booked.
Once the diagnostic report is submitted, delivered, or made available to you in any form (including digital delivery via email, WhatsApp, or a shared link), the inspection fee becomes non-refundable. This is because the core service — the on-site inspection and the engineer’s time, travel, and analysis — has already been completed and delivered in full at that point.
Cancellations & Refunds
All Foxscan bookings are non-refundable once payment is confirmed. This applies regardless of how much notice you give, and covers cancellations, rescheduling requests, customer no-shows, denial of site access, false or incomplete information provided at the time of booking, and disagreement with the findings of a completed report.
This policy reflects that a confirmed booking reserves a certified engineer’s time, travel, and equipment for your scheduled slot from the moment payment is made.

Report Usage & Limitation of Liability
Foxscan’s inspection reports are prepared solely for the client who has engaged our services and are intended to provide a professional assessment based on the property’s condition at the time of inspection. The report should not be interpreted as a guarantee, warranty, or prediction of future performance or conditions. By using our services, the client agrees that the report shall not be used to make false, misleading, or out-of-context claims against Foxscan. Any dispute relating to our services shall be governed exclusively by the Terms & Conditions and applicable laws.
Terms and Conditions
- The report is a diagnostic opinion only — it is not a legal, structural-stability, valuation, insurance, or court-admissible document.
- The report applies to the named property only; it may not be relied upon by any third party without FoxScan’s written consent.
- The recommended action window is 28 days from the date of inspection. Beyond this window, a re-inspection may be required (e.g. post-monsoon, after modifications, or after any visible change to the property).
- Given the structural variation across Indian buildings, all observations are a snapshot as of the inspection date and may evolve over time.
- The report carries no warranty. Warranty on any repair work lies solely with the party who executes that work, not with FoxScan.
- The inspection is non-destructive (thermal + visual). It does not include destructive opening, structural assessment, lab testing, or mould/asbestos testing unless separately commissioned.
- One free reschedule is allowed with 24-hour notice. A second reschedule incurs a 10% fee; a third reschedule is treated as a cancellation.
- Payment is due before or at the time of inspection. The report is released only after full payment is received.
- All fees are exclusive of GST.
- The report is FoxScan’s intellectual property. The customer receives a non-transferable licence to use it for the named property only.
- FoxScan’s total liability is capped at the fee paid for the service; FoxScan is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages.
- In the event of force majeure (natural disaster, pandemic, government order), the customer is entitled to a free reschedule or a full refund.
- These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes will first go through 30 days of good-faith discussion, followed by ICA mediation if unresolved, and then the courts at FoxScan’s registered office.
- By booking a service, the customer accepts both this Refund Policy and these Terms & Conditions in full, and confirms that all property information provided is true and complete.
