Urbanroof rebrands as FoxScan, launching India’s AI-powered Structural Intelligence Practice

Urbanroof restored more than 4,000 properties between 2016 and 2026, and diagnosed over 40,000 during that work. That record produced a consistent finding: buildings showing identical symptoms — damp, cracking, peeling paint — were frequently failing for different underlying reasons. Treating the symptom without identifying the cause produced repairs that did not last.
FoxScan was formed to separate diagnosis from repair. The practice diagnoses only. It does not sell or perform repairs, and the diagnostic fee is flat regardless of what the scan finds. The report belongs to the property owner, who is free to take it to any contractor.

FoxScan opens India’s 1st Building Diagnostic Intelligence Experience Centre in Pune
Fugewadi, Pune ✳ 24 September 2026
FoxScan opened its Experience Centre in Fugewadi, Pune, on 24 September 2026, in association with Griha Sanjivan Foundation, a non-profit industry upskilling initiative.
The centre has three purposes. It is a hands-on training ground for students, aspiring contractors, architects and interior designers, with training in three phases: theoretical, immersive and practical. It hosts live demonstrations of thermal, moisture-mapping, radar and AI-Engine tools scanning real building elements. And it is a place where engineers, contractors and developers meet over the future of structural diagnostics in India.
